Crew Blog
The race is on!
20 May 2008
Up wind again after our Pacific holiday! This is a close one and we are trimming, helming to best advantage and doing everything we can to get the best speed out of Hull and Humber.
Spirits are high and we are all giving all our effort to the cause.
Working at 30 degrees isn’t easy and our mothers are producing some great food to keep our personal engines going! Food and rest are just as important for success and we try to get both whenever it is possible.
Jamaica here we come!

Congradulations on another fine win under great pressure from the rest of the fleet, it shows what a fine crew you are. Keep up the good work and go all out again to win and beat New York and stay in the lead. Good luck and fair winds all the way.
Brian.

I have missed you all by 5 days! I have just crossed from Columbia to Panama by boat and was about 200 miles behind you at one point!
Thinking of you all as always.

Good luck and continued success in this last leg. Hope my good friend Wendy has found her sea legs after joining you in Jamaica.
