More than €30,000 in prize money is up for grabs during the Virtual Clipper Race
Fans of online gaming and armchair followers of the race will be pleased to know the Virtual Clipper Race is again online for Clipper 11-12 and is free to sign up to play.
You can customize your own boat, create leagues to compete against family, friends and colleagues and, for the more serious player, a small fee enables you to select the ‘pro’ options – a wider selection of sails, auto pilot and more.
The Virtual Clipper Race is divided into 15 races and follows the same route as the real thing and you can race as many of the stages as you like. There is one massive advantage – you can stay warm and dry!
While crews taking part in Clipper 11-12 are battling on bucking foredecks to change a headsail in pitch darkness, high winds and rough seas, the same manoeuvre in the game is achieved by a simple click of the mouse!
More than €30,000 in prize money is up for grabs during the Virtual Clipper Race as well as Rotary Aquaspeed Watches and Henri Lloyd Stow Bags.
