Today sees a huge number of crew taking part in the Clipper 13-14 Round the World Yacht Race descend on London for the pre-race crew brief and the first chance to see the brand-new Clipper 70 up close and personal.

Over 300 crew are expected to attend a brief held by the race management team, which will also offer the chance for the crew members to see the 70-foot yacht that many will call home for close to a year during the race.

Part of the new fleet of twelve ocean racers, the Clipper 70 has been berthed at St Katherine Docks, London for the last week to showcase to crew, suppliers and general members of the public.

Tomorrow (Sunday) is the last opportunity for open boat tours of the Clipper 70 at St Katharine Docks. Tours are available from 12:00 until 18:00.

The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is a unique event offering people from all walks of life the opportunity to race around the globe, taking on some of the most challenging conditions on planet in the process.
