The first visitors to the new Clipper 70 have come away thoroughly impressed as the 70-foot yacht is showcased at St Katharine Docks this week.

“The new yacht is huge! I’m rather jealous of the crew taking part and might have to join them,” explained Graham, a London-resident after a tour of the new yacht.

The yacht, designed by renowned naval architect Tony Castro will be berthed at St Katharine Docks until 20 January and available for boat tours for anyone interested in seeing the ocean racer up close.

“From first impressions, the Clipper 70 is going to be pretty exciting to race around the world on,” revealed Sophie, a graphic designer based near to St Katharine Docks.

A number of former Clipper Race crew will be at St Katharine Docks to give you an insight into the challenge first hand.
