Fleet expected to cross finish line from around 21:30 BST as Race 16 draws to a close

GREAT Britain is currently leading the final race of the series and is approximately 5 miles from the finish line off Southend Pier, UK, and is estimated to finish at 2100BST.  The final yacht is expected to finish around midnight.

The northerly mark was added in earlier today as part of an elastic course because the wind strengenthed. There was always the option to add in extra marks or remove them subject to the prevailing conditions.

Henri Lloyd is currently in second place and OneDLL is in third, which means it will retain its podium position if it holds its position, meaning rivals Derry~Londonderry~Doire, currently  in fourth, will stay fourth on the overall leaderboard.
