A cloudless blue dusk sky and the striking Manhattan skyline provided an inspiring backdrop for tonight’s Race 13: The Grange Hotels Trophy crew prize giving celebration at the Liberty Landing restaurant in New Jersey.

GREAT Britain and OneDLL received the second and third place podium pennants, however the biggest cheer of the evening however was saved for Eric Holden and Henri Lloyd. The team received a standing ovation as they lifted the Grange Hotels Trophy and accepted a hamper of luxury food items from a Grange Hotels representative following their 17 point display of power in the biggest win of the Clipper 2013-14 Race so far.

“Congratulations to Henri Lloyd on its fantastic win from Jamaica to New York and for raising the Grange Hotels Trophy; a magnificent achievement, offered Mary Doogan, Group General Manager for The Grange Hotels. “We commend you for negotiating such testing waters of the Caribbean and Atlantic oceans. Enjoy your celebrations, and hamper in the Big Apple!”

The Ellen McArthur Cancer Trust Leg 7 mascot blog competition, for a bottle of Old Pulteney, signed by Dame Ellen McArthur was awarded to Old Pulteney. To read the teams winning blog entry, click HERE.
