PSP Logistics clinches Ocean Sprint points

The Race Office has now verified the Ocean Sprint timings and issued the official results:

With Team Garmin being the last of the fleet to clear the Ocean Sprint zone in a respectable 20 hours 23 minutes, PSP Logistics is confirmed as the fastest team with a time of 18 hours 2 minutes, clinching two valuable extra points to boost their overall standing after Race 4 into Albany.

Jamaica Get All Right had the second fastest speed, just 40 minutes longer, at 18 hours 42 minutes and OneDLL was next with 19 hours 41 minutes.

The last day of racing for the front runners is proving particularly nail biting with the top four teams last reported within 15 miles of one another.

For those following online via the Race Viewer it will be particularly frustrating because the three leading yachts have all gone into Stealth Mode.

GREAT Britain will be the first to emerge at 1200 UTC (2000 Local), with OneDLL and Henri Lloyd reappearing at 1800 UTC (0200 Monday Local).

The only exception will be if any of the teams arrive within 100nm of the Albany finish line before this, when Stealth Mode will automatically end.
