So, Anne Boleyn has been up and flying again and this time behaved herself. Thank God! We haven't quite given up on our podium place, merely put our dreams on hold. Such is the camaraderie of the crew, I wouldn't be surprised if someone 'made' a podium and we held our own little ceremony - pretending we were back in Hobart, of course, and jumping up onto the top podium.

The chocolate biscuits have ran out and we are all eating sugary sweets that you wouldn't give your kids. We have also run out of cheese, butter and toilet cleaner. We are unable to make biscuits or cakes with no butter, but it won't kill us! Come back Bridget - we miss you.

Back to upwind sailing again, we are being slammed about whilst we head up towards Rockall. We continue to sail hard and both watches are happy. The living conditions are challenging, but nothing that we haven't faced previously (I remember vividly my baptism of fire, getting on in Cape Town and being slammed senseless for 2 weeks, as we sailed unexpectedly upwind).

Eli (Lev - our Israeli crew member sailing Leg 8) has told us he has been having weird dreams. One of the strange things about sleeping in patches, off watch, is having strange dreams and a number of crew have experienced it. I was awoken the other day to come on watch and realised that I was in the dug out at Southampton Football Club. Goodness knows what I was doing there, or what I had been doing - probably best not to ask!

I want to take this opportunity to wish all my American friends a Happy American Independence Day. Particularly my boat Dad, Thom Fisher, who is currently whipping our butts on Unicef. Love you Dad - get that fizz chilled if you're there before me (It aint over til it's over!!).

And big love to my amazing fan base back at home. Thanks again for all your support. Love you all and look forward to seeing you en masse in London! XXX
