275 nautical miles to go and it feels like a very long distance. Even on a 4,000 mile race like this – just because there is very little wind. We are fighting for every meter, in sight distance to Sanya Serenity Coast and Unicef, our closest competitors for our goal: a podium place. We were fighting hard, we will continue to fight hard. But sailing in very low winds is mentally definitely the bigger challenge for every one than too much wind. I know I said this before and I'm repeating it since it's absolutely impressive over and over again to see, how big the impact on the mood of each of us is. Still our spirit is positive and alive, but maybe sometimes a bit impatient.

Beside the sailing there is a certain amount of tasks with deadlines we have. One is writing the daily crew blog. Today obviously my turn and I was supposed to hand this in three hours before I'm typing it. No excuses, sorry! Next deadline is to be on deck for the afternoon watch in nine minutes. What a busy life we have here to keep the boat running and fast. So, sorry for not sharing any more insights from Team Dare To Lead, but please understand, I have only eight minutes to brush teeth, apply sun cream, get dressed and go up on deck. Not a problem if I start now. :)
