Want to know what it’s like sailing around the world?

In the last 24 hours or so, my life jacket has exploded into life-saver mode due to the combined pressure of water and hot chocolate powder in the bilge space below my bunk, and the continuous slamming against the on-coming current and upwind sailing. I have shaved my legs using baby wipes instead of water as a lubricant and just now I repainted my toenails in Rustic Red (dark to cover the dirt) as the sea state is calm enough and the wind is behaving itself.

Such are the ups and downs of ocean sailing.
