It has taken a while to do my first and last blog but as it’s also our last day on Leg 4, I thought I’d take the opportunity.

I flew in from London on the 14th December to start the adventure of a lifetime, and it has proved to be exactly that from day 1.

A welcome from the crew of Imagine your Korea to us joining Leg 4, a refresher day followed by a corporate day and we were set to go.

Taking in the myriad of waves, clouds, daylight and darkness viewing the stars was quite awesome. Getting confidence around the boat with the support of my newly appointed buddy was a challenge, but it got easier by the day.

We had Christmas Day and New Year’s to celebrate, which was a mix between excitement at the sheer location and emotion of missing family at home.

It has been a journey to remember for a lifetime.

Thank you Rob and Sam, our truly professional Skipper and AQP, to a terrific crew and to Sir Robin for having the inspiration to open the door to such experience.
