I can’t believe we’re starting Race 9 of the Clipper Race. The rest on shore is always short and fast. We’ve been sailing for 192 days now. I miss home and my family all the time. My phone reminds me how many days I have until I arrive in Qingdao. Follow the schedule, I can go home in eight days. But we can’t stop at Qingdao because of emergencies.

Now my country is suffering. Many people have the flu, and many even die of the flu. I am very worried about people, see the news, I feel very sad. I hope people will get better soon. Emergencies are also part of the race. Although I can’t help people right now, I suggest that people can drink more water, go out less and exercise more. There are other countries that have the same problem, disease is the enemy of all mankind, and we need to fight the virus together. There is a song in the movie ‘I am legend’ the lyrics are, ‘Don’t worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright.’

I think we will finish the race smoothly, because all kinds of difficulties will make us stronger.

Life is a freight train and it leaves the station slowly, but it picks up momentum and it goes faster and faster and then you wake up one day and it’s 2020 and you’re not a kid anymore. You become that adult that remembers when you were a kid, you remember looking at thinking... I’ll never be that old but you will be that old and there’s nothing there’s you can do to change that.

We’re going to finish the first Dell Latitude Rugged Ocean Spirit right away, and we hope we can keep moving forward to the first one.
