Hello!

This is day two of our supposedly four to five day race. The wind is looking like it should die any minute, so I am looking forward to seeing how we close in on the next 450nm with little wind. However, right now it's blowing pretty well and I hope that keeps going for a while.

Number 1 isn't feeling well so she has been getting lots of rest and Dave has been trying to sleep when he can - although it has been just a series of short cat naps for him throughout the day.

I am so excited to have some new team members on board. We have some great returning crew members and some that are joining us for the first time. We had two objectives when we set out for this short race: get to know the new crew and get everyone trained and up to speed before the Pacific. So far we have met those two objectives! We will continue teaching, learning, and training as we prepare for a magical, adventurous crossing.
