An Ode to The Big Blue Clipper Boat Part

Day 3 on the Big Blue Clipper Race Boat enjoying calm seas and downwind sailing, a real contrast to the first three days of part one of this leg to Portimão. Ode to The Big Blue Clipper Boat – Part One

There once was a Big Blue Clipper of which Ian Wiggin was Skipper.

Young and daring, a genius at seafaring and with a taste for Lemon and Ginger

Then there was First Mate Mike Miller, who had been a previous winner.

With a permanent grin and a passion to win, he helmed and got ever thinner.

Most important Angie our Victualler with a real love of food and a stickler

For recipes tasty, not cooked too hasty, keeping the crew healthy not pasty.

Our Watch Leaders Alex and Dan, both giants of Man

With their knowledge of sails and sea dog tales, they lead us whilst getting a tan.

Then onto the crew of which 20. some of whom I have already mentioned

There is Keith on the kite trimming with all of his might and ………...

You will have to wait for my next blog for the second instalment as have run out of blog words! Apart from to say hello to Rob, Fin, Josie, Mum, Dad and Anne love you all to the moon and back xxx
