Normally the domain of seasoned pros, the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is an epic endurance challenge raced by people from all walks of life and more than 40 nations regardless of whether they have sailing experience or not. Find out what it takes to embark on the race of your life, about running the world’s largest matched fleet of ocean racing yachts, the mandatory world-class training and watch some dramatic footage from onboard the yachts.

Simon DuBois, an accountant from Montreal put his career on hold to take on the adventure challenge of a lifetime and become a circumnavigator in the Clipper 2017-18 Round the World Yacht Race. He will share his story about why and how he was able to embark on such a courageous feat – and share his insight about life onboard a stripped out 70-foot ocean racing yacht in the harshest of conditions.
