Captain’s blog, sailing day 112. I have been pondering what I can write about for today’s blog, and the answer I have come to is not a lot.
The only manoeuvres that we have done in the past 24 hours are a couple of gybes, both of which went perfectly. This is great for our boat speed and course but not so great for my blog as all I can say is we gybed twice and they both went really well.
The team have been working on the list of jobs that need to be completed. There is always something that needs doing on a boat, if you say there is nothing to do it means one of two things. Option A, you’re not looking hard enough. Option B, your lying!
The pause line is not too far away now, the fleet is tightly packed and with these light airs anything could happen.
