Eric Holden – Henri Lloyd
In the last hour or so we have finally picked up a bit of wind after a very light channel crossing. We are hoping that the wind will be enough to enable us to sail against the very strong currents that will be against us as we close on the Cherbourg Peninsula. The fleet is nipping at our tail and it has been impossible to cover all boats chasing us. Overall I and the crew are happy with how things are going as we have been in and around the front since Dover. It has been a busy couple of days with lots of sail changes, but I think we've had every sail up since the start and the crew are getting pretty quick at packing spinnakers.
