New race, new AQP, new crew.
A windy start to the race had us beating to windward down the island and then, as a very dark and very wet front passed over us, the wind veered and we are now heading north-ish towards-ish the fin-ish line.
A short sprint which is promising to be quite a tactical minefield as we expect more light winds ahead. A positive attitude on board, though, and we are presently giving the usual front-runners a run for their money!
New York, hope you're ready for us!
