When the night draws in...

And the moon is dark and blissfully unaware, the stars shine brighter, and phosphorescence mirrors every star, a large silhouette enters stage right, ominous by its towering turbulent mass, hot and cold it blows and pitter-patter its expression on the deck. The crew climb the low side to the high side, a momentary glimpse of life at 30 degrees, bathing in the shower, glistening like starlight. Refreshed they view their world with newfound eyes, 8 knots, 9 knots going on 10 and suddenly the goal doesn't seem so far away.

Then the heel subsides, as the crew slide down the low side, our darkly cloaked silhouette exits stage left and the breeze whispers its final breath, slating sails and starlight fill the night sky, the breeze is gone they cry... stick around my friends, you may as well, you've nowhere else to go!
