Unfortunately a short and hopefully sweet one from me this evening, a small snafu with the Code 2 has left us a little short of time to enjoy the pleasures of the written word. Long reaching angles has been the name of the game so far this leg, dodging in and out of currents and constantly looking at angles and speeds. With the wind as consistent as it has been from the south-west, many on board were hoping for a gybeless crossing, alas not to be, as the breeze ran a little low and we headed north to find some more, mission accomplished.

But the Code 2 is the casualty of our need for speed. Still hopes are high for a speedy crossing and we look forward with eagerness to what the rest of this leg has to throw at us.
