Another good day in the office. Having said that, I have heard that a bad day on the water beats a good day in the office. Either way, it was another great days sailing. A lovely Force 4/5 reaching toward the African coast.

The little battle between Zhuhai and ourselves ended up in all out war this morning, with the two of us match racing a few metres apart. As I said yesterday, not an inch given and not an inch taken, and well it got worse. A good few hours, which the crews were loving. Reach up to cover, bear away, back up...great fun. Not much has changed and we are reaching next to each other again. Nick made a good gybe and pulled a bit out but not for long :) Nick we are coming. I have had to add a new standing order, "watch Zhuhai like a hawk". To add to the mix, WTC Logistics is now only a few miles away and I am sure is up for some close racing, so now it is a nice three-way battle. Mark and the crew, welcome to the madness.

Life on board otherwise has been nicely routine. Routine is good as it means nothing has broken or no one is injured. Both very good things, therefore routine means good. The guys are up and down as needed and always with a smile and best of all, always on time.

Talking of time, we changed our ships time today for the first time of what I assume will be many. So if you suddenly got an email from someone who was on watch, well they might well not have been. It did however mean that one watch did an extra hour on deck, one did an extra on standby and of course the lucky ones got that extra hour of sleep. Lucky for some.

So onwards and downwards, so to speak, as we are heading south along the African coast, with a sharp eye on Nick and Mark as well as all the little unlit fishing boats that seem to litter these coastal waters.

We are hoping they see us coming at 12 knots...

Have a good weekend and we will be back tomorrow to read with your Sunday lie in...

Cheers,

Wavy, Fabian and the GoToBermuda crew.
