Morning All,

Well I went to the crew this morning and asked what to write about? The answer was the helming, which I touched on yesterday. They however saw things in quite a different light! Andrews' comment was about Arthurs helming, Arthur was about Andrew etc, so the conclusion was that we have 14 different helming techniques. Some were described as zimmer frame or granny helming, others distance helming, others pirate helming and so the list goes on. I now need to compile a list of each, for the speeches at our crew dinner. This I won’t share with the rest of the crew, as some crew did invisible helming, ie they did none, and others were inadvisable helming. However, this leg all the different ways to make GoToBemuda go forward come for all of us on board. Which one is best is still under debate.

Otherwise the wind did finally veer around and up went the bag, which lead to new helming techniques, and with it up went our speed. It has been very awkward conditions and the short choppy sea is trying it's best to trip the helm and trimmers up. Not these guys and gals, they are on it with gusto and energy.

So, almost to the top and then down to Subic Bay, which according to the forecast and looking at the other boats could take a while, so once again cross fingers, hold thumbs and let’s get into the last little leg of the race.

Cheers
