‘Ello folks! And ‘ello to all on the Isle of Wight! (Sarah, Clutterbucks and UKSA) and family in Devon and Cornwall - Prouts, Sticklands and 'Dads'.

As you're reading this, we would have passed you, but from some thousand miles away! We're finally on the same latitude! Hoo Raa! Well, we are in stealth mode so can't really give too much of the game away. To the other boats who are reading this, we are continually doing 29 knots and in a very, very good direction! That has thrown them off the scent, right?

Back to boat proceedings. On our little boat we try and take a couple of breaks everyday, sometimes it's our progress (Wangy) report, sometimes it's our bedtime story (blogs) and other times it's a quiz - the winning watch gets an extra 15 minutes in their bunk.* (Turns out folk are still not sick of quizzes despite the lock down craze!) But once a leg something really special happens, we do crew portraits. So this lunch time everyone was given a crew member's name in secret and a piece of paper, they then have the following watch to draw that crew member. At 1800 we all try to guess who is who, and whichever watch gets the most right, wins! It's all very entertaining - turns out drawing faces is a lot harder than you think - crew members generally end up as the opposite sex, with noses the size of turnips, crossed eyes or bald - even if they have hair in real life.

Well gotta go - the wind ain't playing ball. Enjoy your weekend and hope the surf is pumping!

*This rarely ever happens due to sail changes (but bragging rights are worth alot).
