Ello folks, how's it going?

Well I'll keep this one short. We were frolicking along like a baby lamb following its first butterfly in a spring meadow, making good speed, but maybe not the best course - so we went for a gybe. All went well(ish). Then as the wind came back round we attempted to gybe back - here is where the 'kite-tastrophe' started. We had a wee broach, followed by a little wrap and then, the 'kite' well and truly hit the fan! But as far as kite-mares go this one was an awesome one. From broach, to wrap, to all under control it took less than 20 minutes. It was an amazing crew effort and everyone pulled their weight (and the kite).

Karla you'll be mega happy, Kitty was on hand to capture the chaos and she also got the stern camera on!

So after all that excitement, we decided to “calmez vous’' the heck out and proceed under white sails to rest and reset - but Mother Nature had other ideas as we broke speed record after speed record maxing out at 23.3 knots!!! Right best go, me tea is going cold.
