‘Ello folks,

Well it's a bad day on Ha Long Bay, Viet Nam for Jade, Harpo and myself anyway. Not only did Saints lose but also so did Liverpool. Well, at least we can all console each other. Oh in other less important news, we may of also broke two kites, before future crew members start pulling out their hair don't worry they have not blown up like the Code 2 did on Leg 1 and nor is it in two pieces like Race 6. In fact, the Code 2 is already packed and ready to go, the Code 3, however, will need some minor work when we get back on solid ground, but nothing Mike and 'Tim the trim' won't be able to handle. Oh and Sir Robin’s top tip got us out of the sticky stuff again…

We were sweating up the kite, when one halyard parted with its sail, but nae bother, we had two halyards attached, so we shot Hugo up the rig and all was reattached. So as for our position, I shan't make any predictions just yet (nor will I, until we have crossed the line) but it will be interesting to see how it all pans out. We have planned to go white sails at night so we are just a couple of hours early, that's all.

Josh, Hugo and the crew of Ha Long Bay Viet Nam.
