Morning all,

It's been a traditional Imagine your Korea start, with some early kite damage to repair after two aborted hoists. James Anderson and Nick Whittle have led the work and brought us back into shape in record time, so this morning we have welcomed in the new day with a kite hoist. This has us sailing further away from the wind, which (a few of the crew sigh in relief) gets us going on a more direct route too.

And here the blogging was broken, by the call of 'kite drop, now!' from the Skipper. Back to white sails for a bit longer.

Kitemares aside, we seem to be settling down to the task at hand pretty well. The new leggers have come into the fold quickly, with everyone bonding around the trials of life onboard. Seasickness has made staffing Cafe 45 a challenge, and the old salutation is back 'You're welcome sir, and I do hope you keep it down'.

The water is still warm and the sun is still up. I did an extended spell at the masthead yesterday and was able to see at least two of our competitors on the horizon by the time I came down.

Skipper Dan has joined the Leg 3'ers in bringing new energy to the boat and is already using his experience to help us polish and improve everything from our headsail changes to our handovers.

That will have to do for now, as I think this is already running late (sorry! We had some sailing to do!)

All the best from everyone on Imagine your Korea

Sam & Dan & co.
