Today I am at a loss for words with the loss of Simon Speirs (GREAT Britain). Myself and the Liverpool 2018 crew are deeply saddened and cannot tear our thoughts from the tragedy and pain being felt by Simon's family, Andy (GREAT Britain Skipper) and the GREAT Britain crew.
As a mark of respect, we joined Andy and his crew in 1 minute silence and a prayer reading at 9 am local time today.
No funny blog or anecdotes today...
All is well on team Liverpool 2018 and we’re sailing steadily towards Freemantle.
