Hi Folks,

A quick thank you to our awesome crew for the messages of support received and a special thanks to 'the Mrs' for putting those together. These golden nuggets can give us a great little boost at the right times.

To arrive or not to arrive in Fremantle? That is the question. The Liverpool 2018 crew are all ready to get both feet on dry land and decompress after a very tough leg however current wind states will not allow.

While we finally have a beautiful wind angle to take us straight into Fremantle, the wind speeds are bordering on our imposed restricted sail plans limiting our performance. And we have just come through a little wind hole. Plus, there is a massive high pressure ridge with no wind in between us and Freo. So, we are currently relying mostly on hope and the power of positive thinking to will us into port rather than the actual physics of sail foils, fluid dynamics and drive.

We are pleased to be within AIS range of team Garmin should they need any support with Erik Hellstrom and delighted (and frustrated as they are going faster than us) to see them making good progress towards a safe solution for him. Go GT.

Well it’s now 2pm boat time. Crew are fed and watered. Oasis is playing on deck and the sun is out. Time to get these guns out and work on the life jacket lines to show off on the beaches of Western Oz. Hopefully something to brighten these dark days just a little.

Think Pink. Think Positive.

Ta,

Lance
