Hola from the Punta del Este boat,
We have been sailing with the same tack and direction for the last three days, keeping the speed, trimming the sails constantly, pushing forward towards Derry~Londonderry. This edition of the Clipper Race is coming to an end, with under a month before we finish this adventure back where we started in London.
The wind is due to increase in the next few hours, so the crew is preparing the boat for strong winds and heavy seas by securing everything that can fall, doing last minute sail repairs and getting out the foulies that have been in storage since we sailed through the west coast of the USA. A welcome change from a long time of heat.
