524 nautical miles to Fremantle and wind hole number four has caught us. The closer the boats are towards Fremantle the slower they sail it seems. We decided to use the time in flat waters to start with our maintenance list and to take a stock list of all the food we have on board to maximise our free time (if any) in Fremantle.

Luckily we are still moving, but this can change any minute. At least the sun is out and over the last day or two it became increasingly warmer. Today I spotted the first few of the crew wearing t-shirts and shorts.

Sailing wise we had a few sail changes due to the decreasing wind, which all went well and, after over three weeks, life on board has settled into the same old routine of sleeping, eating, sailing, repeating. So not much news from Qingdao, but all good. We are looking forward to seeing the Australian coastline on the horizon - the first land since we left Cape Town over three weeks ago.

Fair winds and a following sea!
