We close the finish on the last few gybes I can't write for long as we are currently in a match race tussle for position with WTC Logistics. It’s been a riveting race over the past 24 hrs.
We closed in on WTC Logistics throughout the night and early hours. As we approached they defended their windward side but we were able to overtake to windward after a battle of wills nip and tuck up and down on the breeze. Eventually it was advantage Qingdao and we set out to try to pull out a lead. In a cat and mouse game of chase WTC Logistics have fought bravely and we have just gybed away to make the last gybe to the finish. They chose to stay on with a better angle so we will now gybe back to stay between them and the finish. Must dash.
