Morning,

Yes, I know none of you were expecting to hear from us today. Well, I can assure you that it wasn't our plan to still be out here in the shallow waters outside Cape Town either, but, oh well, here we are. As Dave would say, “we had a problem solving opportunity last night” in around 40kts, hence why our track is slightly puzzling this morning with our questionable northern route. I promise we did not miss Cape Town on the chart, and instead all is resolved on board thankfully and now it's Cape Town here we come!

We are so close that we can see Table Mountain in the far distance, which I have just woken up to be told looked incredible this morning when it was briefly a purple silhouette in the red morning sky (not sure if they are winding me up or not). Anyway, I’m so looking forward to this stopover. it's going to be a good week - see you all soon!
