Hello everyone,

As my mother used to say, if you haven't got anything good to say... Here we go. Ian and Mike.

We are now into the sprint finish. No holding back. Ha. Well, at least I make myself laugh, as we are currently sailing at 2 knots. Run, run as fast as you can, GoToBermuda can't catch us....(let me just check, ahh rubbish, nooo) Correction: there is a good chance they can! Speaking of my mum; Based on performance, I am slightly worried that she will have now left our WhatsApp group. The sad thing is that there were only the two of us in it.

It is exciting to have a sparring partner in GoToBermuda (Hello Wavy and friends) and tonight promises to be busy with all of the wind shifts, fishing boats, commercial traffic and fishing nets. There is a lot of laughter on board today in spite of our position. Perhaps some are nervous, as 11th place gets bigger on the horizon. Everyone is aware that one wind hole could win or lose this duel. We all want to get to the finish. As they say you only get one chance at first impressions. The stiff deck brush may have featured in some extreme deck showering cases as we have been preparing for the first human interactions outside of our isolated norm as well as beautiful clean white towels and sheets.

Thank you for joining us on this journey and for your continued support. Please help us reach our £100,000 Unicef fundraising target.

Here we go,

Ian and Mike
