As I was sitting in the nav station yesterday afternoon, about to read the pilot notes for sailing down the Philippines coast to Subic bay, I was trying to figure out what was different. Then it struck me, I don't have sweat running down my back, of front or face or anywhere, it’s still warm in here but warm but sort of comfortable.

Last night I even had to put a fleece on under my foulies! It was rather splashy but at least it was warm water.

Kevin would like to say a big thank you to Rich Gould Skipper of WTC Logistics for supporting her decision to be called Kevin.

We will hopefully be passing the Infante tonight, we just had a conversation on deck that it might be hard to steer a different course and be on a different tack, seems like forever that we have been heading this way, change is good.

There is still a lot of racing to be done, even though as I write, we have less than 500nm to the finish line.

We have wind holes, and heaps of opposing current as we head down the Philippine coast, our past match racing buddies on Dare to Lead have gone into Stealth Mode, it’s always a worry wondering where they will pop up.

Anyways we are just concentrating on speed and sailing well.

Thanks for reading
