Going through my photos and videos of this leg so far, specifically listening to the sounds and the voices captured in videos and live photos on my device, I was overwhelmed by the realisation that this is NOW. The laughs and the silly dances on the aft deck, the comments on sail-trim on a sunset video, the sound of the roaring sea on a random picture taken the other day. This is not just another YouTube clip of some lucky people doing something I could just dream of. This is lucky me just doing my dream, and It’s all happening NOW, on this boat, with me and my crew.

Besides acknowledging how lucky I am to be here in this stifling heat paired with squalls of rain accompanied by high winds and ripped kites as a result, these videos and photos also created a vision of the future for me as I saw how they will become my memory of this leg, some of them possibly even representing the entire adventure around the world. Even in the seemingly unimportant videos and photos, there are moments captured that will one day be very valuable, so I should keep all of them. These are the pictures I will be looking at over and over again, to remember how wonderful it is to be here NOW.

So, stowing away my PC now, and getting up on deck to enjoy!
