Hello everyone, this blog is going out to my beautiful grandson Carter who has been following my journey on the 2019-20 edition on Qingdao and now to finish the lap on UNICEF.

Hi Carter, hope your doing well. I have a little assignment for you, we crossed the International Date Line a couple of days ago, could you find out some fun facts about it and we can share them when I speak to you in Seattle, do you remember the jungle gym that we went to on the Sunny Coast? Well if you can imagine that place but on a 45-degree angle and bouncing around it pretty much describes life on board.

We all have 4-5 layers of clothes on plus the drysuit to keep it all reasonably dry, it's like wrestling with a yellow Minion getting it on and off six or so times a day, anyway I will let you go. Oh, and when you see Nan in Mackay when she is up there helping you move, could you give her a big hug and tell her I love and miss her. Can't wait to see you again as we have lots to catch up on. Say hi to all the mob in Moranbah and keep smashing it at school, big hugs to Dad, he needs them too. Love you Tiger, keep being you.

Love Grandad xxoo

P.S Big hello to Maggie who has been following the race since the last edition from Dudley, Newcastle NSW. Xx
