Without the changing leaves and pumpkin pies on every counter, this Thanksgiving might have slipped by forgotten, yet I have much to be thankful for. We made a list on night watch:

It's always with mixed emotions for me that we near shore, and this leg is no different. I am thankful that we are healthy and safe, for the camaraderie of our team, and for the suspended reality of life at sea. I'm also thankful for this blog so I can wish my family a Happy Thanksgiving because I'm out of data! Happy Thanksgiving, Mom and Dad, Jane and Pat, and all my family and friends.
