Even though the weather conditions haven't necessarily been much better, life in the boat is getting a little easier. We know each other's ways and rhythms a little better, our bunks and duties are better organised and singing is heard on deck more frequently.

Jason's birthday was two days ago and we sang him Happy Birthday in seven languages, how amazing is that!! Seven languages from the crew on board.

We wanted to be on the podium, but we won't be for this race. We made a bet on a strategy that if it worked would have given us first place while knowing that if it didn't would mean arriving at a later stage. Well unfortunately the strategy didn't work this time. Either way, spirits are high and we continue to work hard as a team to sail safe and fast.

Until next time,

Camilo
