They arrived like silver arrows alongside the boat

trailing behind their phosphorescent coats

of magical colours and sparkling light

cutting through the inky darkness of night

Spiralling and spinning in joyous delight

darting and leaping, enjoying the night

a swish of the tail giving lightning speed

the energy and vigour of living so free

Twisting and turning in a dance synchronized

diamond luminescence we are mesmerized

shooting stars within a mercury stream

enchanted crew in a wondrous dream
