55-year Anniversary of Sir Robin’s circumnavigation

On this day 55 years ago, legendary sailor and founder of the Clipper Race, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston won the Sunday Times Golden Globe Race and became the the first person to perform a single-handed non-stop circumnavigation of the globe.
