GoPro competition winner revealed

Throughout August we teamed up with the official GoPro supplier of the Clipper Race to give you the chance to win a brand new GoPro Hero 3+.

After careful consideration by the Race Team panel of all the images entered via the Clipper Race’s Facebook page, a winner has been chosen.

Jamaica Get All Right crew member, Adam Montgomery’s image taken during Leg 6 of the Clipper 2013-14 Race was selected as the winning photo (see image above).

“The image was taken at the end of March, two days before we crossed the International Date Line across the Pacific Ocean and just before the morning watch change over,” explained Adam.

“We’d just had a good four-hour watch with winds of 20-30 knots and a nice consistent following sea (apart from the one that you can see in photo!).”
