Morning All,

Well we have had another frustrating 24 hours. We entered the Ocean Sprint and have been close reaching ever since. No chance of a Spinnaker, although our forecast promised us a nice 120 degrees off the wind. However, we are making the best we can of the speed, but I am afraid that the points have disappeared along with the easterly winds. However with each passing mile we are getting closer to Luzon and then the homeward stretch.

Although this has been a very long leg for us, it has been a great leg in terms of the crews training and ability. Especially with the helming, the light airs, which GoToBermuda hates, has been a great opportunity to spend time with everyone on the wheel, from Candela, who the guys call the pirate because of the way her hat blows, to Phil and Geoff who have done a lot of helming so far and have been honing their skills.

There is also a major looming crisis on board!!! SUGAR, there might not be enough sugar to get us to Subic Bay! Watch this space for the panic text if we run out and I have to give up coffee for a few days!!!

With that, I am off to get a cup and savour it. :)

Cheers
