Race 7 - Day 3

Morning all,

We are back to life at an angle. It feels great after the life on the drift. But it was a bit of a rude awakening for some, and unfortunately with the bumpy and the leanie, also comes the green monster. I had hoped he had left us but no. He has come back to haunt Chris and Josh. Both of whom are being bulletproof and stars still soldiering on despite it.

Yesterday turned out to be a good and bad day. Good as we sailed well, and with only one small error in a hoist. We had some good learning with the whole crew just getting better, but bad as we managed to find a hole just when we did not want it and saw four yachts go around the mark before us. Upwind we’ll get them.

So, it seemed that the whole fleet except WTC Logistics and Qingdao have chosen to do the north going upwind sprint, so we will have to be on our best game there to do well. Upwind!

We have made a few changes to our new watch system, so let's hope the guys settle in a bit more. Will keep you informed.

Otherwise despite sea sickness and a bumpy boat all are well and racing hard.
