‘Ello folks,

Do any other boats have such trouble communicating 'Gas On!' and 'Gas Off?' I only ask because last night I popped down below to check the onslaught of tankers heading our way and I hear the words 'GAS OFF!' then another shouting ‘GAS ON?’ then everyone is shouting at each other “Gas on?/off?” Some even spell O-F-F! I'm sure some purposely say the wrong on/off (I know who you are). While all this is going on the boat takes off on an almighty surf and Manuel can just be heard over the rushing water 'WOO-HOO 22.7 knots'. I can't help but laugh and admire the chaos.

Well, to the order of the morning, we finally were able to get our Code 2 up but it was in vain, we then went to Windseeker and then Yankee 1. To say it was an action packed morning would be an under-statement but on the most positive note we joined and then passed Seattle and GoToBermuda (‘ello folks!) We then tried to tack and ended up heading North (ish) We then tacked back and now we are level with Wavey, so its race on for Ha Long Bay, Viet Nam… OH NO! Current SOG 0.4 knots.

And to Anne from all the crew, we hope you have a ticky-boo birthday.

Josh, Hugo and the crew of Ha Long Bay Viet Nam
