Hi there PSP Logistics watchers,

As you will no doubt now be aware, the good ship PSP Logistics has decided to adopt the disguise of Wonder Woman's invisible jet and go into Stealth Mode. Where are we? Who knows! To celebrate the incredible technological leap required to pull off this incredible stunt, I have decided to write most of this skipper's blog in invisible ink.

So, there you go. I hope you understood my detailed analysis of the strategic rationale and tactical nuances. I thought it would be helpful to set it all out clearly. If not, or if you have temporarily misplaced your invisible ink reading glasses, we chose a moment when everyone can make a reasonably educated guess as to where we will turn up (in a straight line, perhaps?) and make some side bets as to the outcome. With luck we have chosen a place where the wind forecast is reasonable, so we won't have to face the ignominy of reappearing after 24 hours, in almost exactly the same place as we started. A fate that has befallen PSP Logistics before.

Detailed tactical discussions aside, all things are looking pretty good on board at the moment. Without wanting to put the mockers on us, we are flying downwind, the boat is reasonably flat (and thus finally liveable)the sun is out, and we are surfing down some stunning waves, with the breaking crests sparkling aquamarine. The moon is already out. It’s over half full, and so promises a glorious night of more surfing, more whoops at big speeds and more cups of tea.

We are due north of Hawaii (lots of requests for a diversion) with less than 1,500 miles to go. We are locked in a duel with Dare To Lead, flying up from the north, and Bekezela charging along the ice limit, and us the jam (or, given the amount of tinned meat we are eating, spam) in the sandwich. It promises to be a tough battle right to the end. It is amazing how the sunshine and the promise of a dogfight lift people's spirits, makes them almost lean forward, as they push themselves through the exhaustion at the end of this epic race for one final push.

On, on!!

Mike, Lottie and the happy to be in Wonder Woman's jet and not under Harry Potter's cloak crew of PSP Logistics
