Over the past 48 hours the weather has been constantly changing from the squalls we have been getting, we have seen snow (so the boys on board were throwing snowballs at each other!), hail, drizzle and just enough sunshine to dry out before the next downpour. It feels like we are starting to experience the true North Pacific chilly-ness as we head further north with extra layers being dug out.

Talking about heading north, you will have seen on the Race Viewer we have reached the northern limit, so we have had to gybe our way across to reach the end. Every now and again we have a close encounter with our friends on Washington, DC - Hannah, Ella it was nice to chat with you both! As for now, we are making our way north as we reach the last 1,000nm stretch on our way to the Ocean Sprint and Seattle.

Today we changed over onto our last bottle of gas, every other day we are on gas rations meaning today we got chocolate brownies. I realise I mention this a lot but what a treat and a morale boost it was! We are also looking forward to the extra loaf of bread that's been made with cinnamon and raisins for breakfast tomorrow, thanks to Vera and Dianne. Also, a little sad that this was Vera's last galley duty as she always cooks up a treat for us.
