Hello,

We're well on our way back now, not only are we heading at a great speed in the right direction, I can see the light at the end of the dark dark tunnel of man flu I have been fighting since we left Subic Bay.

The northerlies have arrived and we are cracking on at 10+ knots straight at the end of this sprint, sadly they didn’t come soon enough last night and Ha Long Bay, Viet Nam managed to slip away from us. It has been quite peaceful on board this race, the weather has done largely what it was forecast to do and we haven’t seen breeze above 15 knots which has left everyone feeling calm and relaxed, although it is slightly different from the weather we are going to be experiencing in a couple of weeks time when we venture out into the North Pacific and take on all it have to offer.

But for now we will gladly accept these lovely conditions, cruising along beside Punta del Este and Unicef with Qingdao back in the fight just behind us, keeping us all on our toes.

Until tomorrow,

Seumas
