The sailing is getting spicy. Our current speed is consistently 12-15 knots with big surf and freezing temperatures. The boat down below has become a little grotto, as we can see our own breath and every wall/surface is laced with condensation, dripping in the most inconvenient of places.
The only dry and warm place of current is inside our ocean sleepwear sleeping bags, and even then, we are sleeping in two to three layers of clothing. The crew are battling on, and the allure of warm Australian beaches is becoming more and more appealing to sail fast in the right direction...
