I'm really, really hoping this is my last blog of this race.

The last 500 nautical miles has seemed never-ending as we zig zag our way very, very slowly up the coast. We took a gamble this morning and went inshore looking for land breeze and it paid off!

We enjoyed a two-hour reminder of what it feels like to go eleven knots in the right direction - it was AWESOME. Alas, it didn't last and now we are back to beating into wind and current. Just 100 nautical miles left and we are hot on Sanya Serenity Coast's heels - back to our old second favourite spot, following Wendo's blue behind.

It's been an absolute pleasure to sail with this fabulous crew this leg. Our highest male to female ratio so far of almost 50:50, with some great characters and a general good feeling atmosphere. Today we sung Auld Lang Syne together over lunch and held hands, recognising the friendships we have made over our journey so far. It was lovely to all join in and share the moment together, and I know I'll remember it for a long time to come.

Big thanks to our supporters too for all your support. Merry Christmas everyone.
