Another fast day, so fast that the Race Office has extended our course! A quick blast past Rockall and St. Kilda, adding 225 nm to our course, making the last two days slightly more tactical rather than the straight line dash we have been enjoying for so long now. I've been informed that it is puffin season, so hopefully some of the colourful beaked birds come to visit.

On the race course we have found ourselves in an intense race with Seattle and GoToBermuda jostling for first place as we head into the Ocean Sprint, occasionally having a good chat with Dave and Hannah on the VHF. What a wonderful race when you can sail alongside good friends, just a shame they are trying to beat you!

Today we have broken the 1000 nm left to go milestone, making everyone on board excited to arrive in Derry~Londonderry and to get their thirsty mouths around a large Guinness, where we will be greeted by our fantastic Team Partner, WTC Logistics. Ant and Ricky, your lovely messages sent to the boat were read at our lunch time happy hour and everyone had a big smile on their faces!

As the race comes towards its finish, the crew regularly reminisce about past legs and adventures that we've had and the general consensus is we have had a great time. Maybe, just maybe, I might be found on the Clipper 2023-24 Race if Mark Light and his Race Office allow me back!
